The Zelda community was in an uproar because his video basically didn't have any new information and the stuff he did provide well it was on the shallow side. Many viewers were upset that he'd pick one of the timelines without really showing where his own argument was since it was all previously talked about within the community and to much more substantial detail. <br /> <br />But I felt that it was because it was only in the community. Matpat's channel is more popular and has a greater reach including reach to groups outside of the Zelda fandom so while the fandom already clawed at every last piece of evidence possible the rest of the gaming community probably didn’t. I felt that there was no way he could have really done much better since it is very difficult for someone focusing on the general world of gaming to delve that far into one game. Actually even in the Zelda fandom most people had the same topics to bring up regarding BOTW's timeline placement so can you really blame him? <br /> <br />Even so I had subscribers and fans that believed that I could do more so here I am. I hope this video will bring new information or at the very least some new angle to look at the information we already have. Who knows if maybe it will finally resolve the debate.
